I create my pieces by crocheting, stitching, and weaving thousands of tiny glass beads into forms that balance structure and softness. Basic geometric shapes flow into organic forms, resulting in designs that are clean and contemporary. I am drawn to an earthy, understated color palette and to textures that give each piece a tactile, fiber-like quality. My goal is to create jewelry that feels both sculptural and intimate—pieces that are versatile, comfortable, and inviting to touch.

Bead crochet is central to my practice and has become the foundation of my signature style. This centuries-old technique offers remarkable creative freedom when combined with contemporary materials. With only a crochet hook, thread, and beads, I can build forms ranging from simple ropes to intricate, nature-inspired sculptural shapes. Originally from Bulgaria, a country with a rich heritage of traditional crafts, I have lived in the United States since 1999. My fascination with beadwork grew naturally from my love of fiber arts. As a self-taught artist, learning this new medium was both an exciting challenge and an invitation to experiment. What continues to draw me to beadwork is the combination of precision and possibility. The process is repetitive and meditative, yet every bead contributes to the final form. I find beauty in this balance—the discipline required to create something simple and the freedom that emerges through experimentation.
